To file an Ex Parte ( Adult Abuse/Child Protection) or
Family Access Motion-
Paperwork and assistance in filing adult abuse, child protection or family
access motion can be obtained at the Circuit Clerk's office in Room 24 of
the Courthouse at 115 W. Main Street, Bowling Green, Missouri
To Pay Child Support-
Child support payments must be mailed to Family Support Payment Center,
P.O. Box 109002, Jefferson City, MO 65110-9002
To Look Up Judgments and Liens-
Judgment indexes and lien information are located in the Circuit
Clerk's office in Room 31 of the Courthouse
To Look Up Case Information-
Case information is available through CaseNet on the Internet at: www.courts.mo.gov/casenet
Cases can be accessed by name, case number, filing date or hearing date.
The Circuit Clerk provides a public access terminal in Room 31 that can be
used to access CaseNet and the previous Judgment index.
To File a Small Claims Suit-
To file a Small Claims case or to obtain information regarding filing a small
claims , you may call 573-324-5582 or come to Room 24 of the courthouse.
To Pay Court Costs-
Civil and Criminal court costs can be mailed or paid in person at the Circuit
Clerk's office. Please include your billing statement or case number. No
personal checks accepted.
Criminal Records Check-
The Circuit Clerk's office will NOT perform a criminal records check. To
obtain a criminal records check please contact: Missouri State Highway Patrol,
Troop C: 314-340-4000
To Apply for a Passport-
Passport forms are available from the Circuit Clerk's office, Room 24. To apply
for a passport you will need the completed application form, certified copy of
birth certificate or naturalization document, driver's license, passport photos
and appropriate fee. For children under age 14, both parents must appear and
sign the child's application, with some exceptions.
Passport Fees are as follows:
Adult- $67.00 passport application fee, plus a separate $30.00 execution fee,
for a total of $97.00.
Child (under age 16) - $52.00 passport application fee, plus a separate
execution fee of $30.00, for a total of $82.00.
If you need your passport in less than 10 weeks, there are additional fees
associated with applying for an expedited passport, which include a $60.00
expedite fee and Express Mail fees of $32.50.
